Original feel first
Classic towns, routes, monsters and balance. Every change fixes something that was broken or adds depth. None of them turn it into a different game.
REALM OF ABADDON · NOW LIVE
A classic Helbreath world at original rates, with a real endgame and a source code that keeps getting better. Level 180 is where your character's story truly begins.
OUR VISION
Most private servers burn bright and close within a season. This one is built the other way round: fair, steady progression, goals that stay meaningful at the very top, and constant improvements to the game itself.
Classic towns, routes, monsters and balance. Every change fixes something that was broken or adds depth. None of them turn it into a different game.
1× experience and 1× drops. Every level, upgrade and rare find comes from playing, and the endgame rewards dedication measured in months.
Drop odds are published for every monster, every change is logged here and inside the game, and the rates are stated in plain numbers.
The full client and server source is maintained in-house, so bugs get real fixes and new events and features keep arriving.
THE REALM
Aresden and Elvine face each other across Middleland. Hunt alone or with a guild, master your skills, chase rare drops through the dungeons, and fight for your nation when the battlefield opens. Icebound stays open all year, buried in permanent snow.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
Everything below is live on the realm today.
ENDGAME
Reaching level 180 unlocks majestic points. Each one is earned through late-game hunting and spent on the gear that marks a true veteran.
ENDGAME
At level 180, the City Hall offers the Dark sets: full armour for knights and mages, plus a Dark Flamberge and Dark wand that grow with you.
ENDGAME
Tutelary angels upgrade with majestic points all the way to +20, growing stronger with every upgrade.
COMMUNITY
Reputation is more than a number on your profile. Helpful, respected players find more loot.
/rep+ and /rep- from level 40, once every 20 minutes.EVENTS
Every two hours, Claude runs a server-wide mini-game in chat: word scrambles, trivia, quick math races and number guessing.
SEASONAL
Throughout December, snow covers the outdoor maps, the shops and guild buildings put up their original holiday decorations, and nights bring Christmas lights and the classic carol.
WAR EVENT
When the Apocalypse opens, a gate in Icebound leads into the underworld. Each map is filled once, and only clearing it opens the way forward.

PATCH NOTES
Newest first. The same list lives in the game under System Menu → General.
The loading, main menu, login and exit screens now carry the Helbreath Abaddon name.
Zemstones of Sacrifice, Stones of Xelima and Stones of Merien now drop half as often.
Every City Hall quest now pays its EXP, gold and contribution together, and quests for level 100 and up give double the EXP.
A startup bug was wiping the quest list and the alchemy recipes, and potions, manufactured gear and crafted necklaces were being lost because of old item names. City Hall quests, potion making, manufacturing and necklace crafting all work again.
Righteous weapons are white again, and gold piles on the ground show their full amount.
Heavy weapons and armor were counted far lighter than they are, so their STR requirements were too low. Plate mail needs 100 STR again (Light plates less), and the Barbarian Hammer and The Devastator now need 150 STR to hold and 195 for full swing speed.
Pressing Enter to pick the server no longer jumps you straight to the password field.
The quest window counts down the monsters you have left as you hunt, and you can cancel your quest right from that window.
City Hall now has a Quest List: see every quest open to your level and nation and pick the one you want, instead of getting a random one.
The Blacksmith and shops now show the STR every weapon, shield and piece of armor needs, in red when yours is too low.
City Hall always has a quest for your level again, weapon colors are clearer (Righteous aqua, Sharp dark blue, Strong/Agile/Light grey), Wizard Magic Staffs (MS10/MS20) are at the Blacksmith, the Pretend Corpse Manual is at the shop, Barbarian Hammer now needs level 120, and the Santa costumes, Crafting Vessel and Lucky Prize Ticket left the shop.
Monster bodies stay until the loot drops, respawns follow their original timers, the inventory shows your carry weight, and Rudolph roams Icebound in December.
Weapon skill now comes from fighting, not from landing the last hit.
Happy Hour every day at 10 AM and 6 PM, and the Apocalypse every other Saturday at 6 PM (Arizona time).
The original holiday decorations return to the shop, blacksmith, warehouse and wizard tower whenever Christmas comes.
Every rare drop is announced to the whole server.
The strongest rare items are now much harder to find.
Abaddon falls in a storm of lightning and always leaves gold, items and two rare finds behind.
Clear each Apocalypse map to open the gate to the next, and clear Abaddon's lair to summon him.
The Apocalypse maps are now home to their original monsters.
Monsters that were missing from the world now roam their maps as intended.
/checknpc, /checkrep, and your reputation on the character screen.
Gold no longer counts toward your carry weight.
Gold and an item can now drop from the same kill.
Buy arrows by the thousand, and double-clicking a stack selects it instead of using it up.
Double experience events.
Server-wide mini-games with rotating prizes, a one-minute warning, daily win limits, and fun facts between rounds.
December snow, holiday lights and the classic carol.
Fully upgraded angels shine with stars that every nearby player can see.
The /who command, and the return of /rep+ and /rep-.
Demons absorb less magic damage, and Earth Shock Wave hits harder.
The /showdmg command and a "!" marker on every killing blow.
Majestic points rebalanced for a steady endgame.
The Merien plate now glows and matches the colour of the Merien shield.
Fixed the strength and weight values shown for heavy equipment.
Dark weapons change form as they upgrade and glow at +15.
Dark Knight and Dark Mage sets available from City Hall at level 180.
Reputation now raises drop chances, and Abaddon drops the Earth Shock Wave manual.
A 5-second logout.
Angels upgrade with majestic points up to +20, and Icebound is open.
